Best Places for Istanbul Nightlife

Are you ready to discover fascinating Istanbul nightlife? Here, I listed top level, classy and upscale places to satisfy the party animal inside of you.

NUPERA

Nupera is one of the leading places for Istanbul Nightlife. The Nupera night club is in the 200 year old historical building, French Passage de Petit Champs, on Meşrutiyet Street Nupera that has a concept of restaurant & bar has quite many frequenters. It is even possible to understand this from the crowd that extends in front of its door, especially on weekends. The restaurant serves with a menu of Chef Esra Muslu’s international cuisine that also includes Turkish delicacies for foreign guests. Mainly house music is played.Prepare to leave yourself to the rhythms. Coctails are 18- 30 liras. During weekdays it is open from 18:00 to 01:00 and from 18:00 to 04:00 at weekends.

http://www.nupera.com.tr/ana-sayfa

REHAB

Another Istanbul Nightlife place where you feel comfortable, and dance as you wish in Beyoğlu is the Rehab. It’s just a night club, there is no food. The main purpose here is being happy by dancing. In Rehab only foreign music is played. House music radio hits, and new house versions of the 80s are between the ones that you can listen here. We would like to state that special nights and parties are also organized here. Cocktails are 40 liras which is fair for Istanbul Nightlife. It’s open between 23:00-04:00, on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 23:00-05.00 in week ends.

The ones, who want to gush with Turkish music, dwelled in Eelence in Asmalimescit for a long time. Then the night club is renewed and made a quick return to the nightlife with the name Ablam. You can dance as you wish in the club with domestic and foreign songs from past to present. It is open five days a week from Tuesday to Saturday.
The Aztek night club that is about 30 years old doesn’t look too bombastic from outside but we can say that you will have an enjoyable night there. The place where everyone feel comfortable and at home, is also a perfect place to eliminate midnight hunger as the kitchen is open till 4:00 in the morning.
360istanbul that attracts attention for years with its legendary view, its experimental cuisine and exceptional performance nights are also spoken about. Of course, two partners of this place, Mike Norman and Sasha Khan’s success is undeniable. Especially, we would like to say that Mike Norman signed menu consists of unforgettable flavors. We recommend you to choose a fixed menu for dinner. The service is made in two sessions during the week. The prices are designated as 70 liras during weekdays and 90 liras for single session at the weekend. It’s open ever day between 12.00 and 02.00.

Changa is waiting for you in its winter house in Siraselviler. We must underline the restaurant’s stylish decoration as well as its presentations and flavors which make the difference. Changa’s two specialties are legends! One of them is geese liver, and the other one is pear dessert with a grasping beauty! One person pays an average of 120 liras. It’s open every day except Sundays between 18.00 and 01.00.

We can underline the wine menu that is as rich as the menu that Mahi created. The Ehlikeyf menu that has a price of 225 liras is one of the most important trump cards of the restaurant. Fresh squid cooked on the grill, homemade tagliatelle, are some of delicious options. It’s open every day between 19.00 and 22.30.

Please imagine the view of Mikla that is located at the top of the Marmara Pera.
Topaz, which is a paradise for those who are open to experimental and courageous flavors, includes Mediterranean and Ottoman cuisine in its menu with a different interpretation. While making a reservation for this place, please make sure to have tables with a good Bosphorus view.
There are a lot of things about Ulus 29 where the hosts are Metin and Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu. We would like to mention about Club 29 that has a rich menu for drinks like the restaurant section. Especially, we recommend you to try the mastic liqueur Skinnos that you can have dinner. One person can spend 150 liras for a nice evenning. It’s open every day between 19.00 and 23.00.

Vogue can tempt anybody at the first step with its breath taking view and elegant decoration. The restaurant’s menu’s main point is world cuisine, but lately it gets a great demand for its rich sushi menu. The venue couldn’t be seen as a dinner place because especially white-collar people are flocked there during lunch time. It’s open every day between 12.00 and 02.00.

I highly recommend you to try turbot tandoori, scorpion fish and shrimps. Balıkçı Kahraman is known with it’s turbot livers, turbot eggs, mussels, sea bass tandoori and corn bread. Salad and tomatoes are totally organic. Don’t forget to drink Turkish Rakı with seafoods and fish.

Approximately bill is 150TL for one person.

Although on a bit pricy side, you definitely MUST try this place. Mr. Sabahattin and his sons are doing a superb job & if you are a seafood addict like me, then this place will be the highlight of your stay.

Bebek Balıkçı

Bebek Balıkçı that has complete view of Bebek bay, is one of the favorite addresses of many residents of Istanbul with it’s uniquely beautiful view. Fish meatball, ocean delight, fish cooked in paper and fish cooked in salt are among the dished that should absolutely be tried.

Today, Asitane’s menu comprises only dishes that featured in the kitchens of the royal palaces during this period and provided my introduction to almond soup from the 16th century; Ottoman hummus slightly sweetened with cinnamon and currants; and from the special menu that currently celebrates Fatih Sultan Mehmet’in, who conquered what was then Constantinople just over 556 years ago, Sultan’s Yahni, a lamb and chicken stew with chickpeas and cumin.

Balıkçı Sabahattin is a world-famous fish restaurant located in Cankurtaran. Balıkçı Sabahattin, got two times the cover subject of The New York Times in the first three months in the year 2000. He is truly serving best fish in Istanbul. You will agree to me when you taste their “rice with mussels” and “Sabahattin salad“.

You MUST try turbot fish, loufer fish, rice with mussels, jumbo shrimps, calamari, sea bass marin and their special sauces. All fishs and other seafoods are being served daily and fresh. They have very rich starters that go great with the tasty wholegrain bread and the calamari is quite delicious.

If you are smoking Balıkçı Sabahattin has a private smoke-free part in restaurant.

Although on a bit pricy side, you definitely MUST try this place. Mr. Sabahattin and his sons are doing a superb job & if you are a seafood addict like me, then this place will be the highlight of your stay.

Turkey has thousands of different bus companies. During regular days it’s easy to find a bus ticket between cities and regions. That’s why, you don’t need to buy your bus tickets in advance. But during national holidays it might be hard to find a bus ticket, so it’s better if you book it before your travel.

In big and touristic cities, just go to the bus terminal and buy a bus ticket on the day you want to travel. Probably you will find a lot of different company and bus options. As I said before, the unique exception to this easy-travelling rule is national holidays!

If you are already in Turkey, just ask your hotel or ask your guide for help. And of course you can visit the bus terminal and buy a ticket by yourself. In bus terminals, you can choose a company and buy tickets from their office.

You can choose your seat position if you want. Otherwise bus company is going to give you a random seat number. It’s good for you if you read general bus travel information about Turkey before.

Approximately every 100 kilometers costs 10TL which is 4,5 Euro (€).

http://www.uistanbul.net/transportation/bus-travel-costs-in-turkey/

Buying Bus Tickets from Terminal

You can find all the bus companies and buy your tickets from these locations. Also you can get buses and go to your destination from this terminals.

Esenler Otogar (Terminal)
